Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa - City Tour

Arrive at Bole International Airport, where you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in and rest. After lunch, embark on a guided city tour of Addis Ababa, exploring key landmarks such as the National Museum and Holy Trinity Cathedral. End your day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Fly to Lalibela

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. Upon arrival, meet your guide and visit the rock-hewn churches, including the iconic St. George Church. Lalibela is home to over 200 churches, with 11 renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." These were constructed during King Lalibela’s reign in the 12th and 13th centuries. Overnight at Maribela Hotel.

Day 3: Fly Back to Gondar

After breakfast, visit additional rock-hewn churches in Lalibela. Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Gondar. Upon arrival, enjoy sightseeing, including Fasilidas Castle and the Holy Trinity Church (Debre Birhan Selassie). Overnight at Gondar Goha Hotel.

Day 4: Gondar to Simien Mountains National Park

Day 5: Simien Mountains to Axum

Day 6: Full-Day Exploration of Axum

Day 7: Axum to Yeha to Mekelle

Day 8: Mekelle to Danakil Depression (Erta Ale)

Early morning 4WD drive to the Danakil Depression and Erta Ale volcano (approx. 5 hours). Arrive at the camping site and, at dusk, hike to the volcano’s summit for views of the active lava lake. Overnight camping.

Day 9: Erta Ale to Hamad Ela

Hike back to the crater for sunrise views, then have breakfast. Drive to Hamad Ela (about 5 hours) with a picnic lunch. Visit Hamad Ela village and explore Salt Lake Asale. Enjoy sunset reflections on the saline ground. Overnight camping in Hamad Ela.

Day 10: Hamad Ela to Dallol to Mekelle

Wake early for a trip to Dallol, known for its vibrant colors and unique geothermal features. Explore the Martian-like landscape, featuring salt mountains and bubbling lakes. Conclude your Ethiopian adventure with unforgettable experiences.
