A 2.5-hour Jeep tour of the D-Day sites to discover and experience the history of World War II. You will travel in an authentic 1944 Jeep Willys.
Your guide will take you on a 2.5-hour tour aboard an authentic 1944 Jeep Willys used by the Allies. You will pass through the main historical sites of the D-Day landings in the Cotentin: the drop zones, Sainte-Mère-Église where you will discover the story of John Steele, the Battle of La Fière, and the D-Day landing beaches. You will also visit the famous Utah Beach, where thousands of soldiers landed on June 6, 1944.
You will also explore the Normandy countryside, where many traces of the fighting still remain, such as bunkers, craters, monuments and military cemeteries. You will be immersed in the stories of those who fought and lost their lives here. You will be impressed by the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives for the freedom of Europe.
