Day 1: Kazbegi & Gudauri – Caucasus Mountain Highlights

After breakfast, set off on a scenic journey along the legendary Georgian Military Road, one of the most beautiful mountain routes in the Caucasus.

Stop at the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its turquoise waters, followed by a visit to the medieval Ananuri Fortress, overlooking the Aragvi River.

Continue toward Gudauri, Georgia’s premier mountain resort. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views and visit the iconic Gudauri Friendship Monument, offering dramatic views over the surrounding valleys.

Arrive in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), surrounded by towering Caucasus peaks. Choose an optional 4x4 jeep ride to the famous Gergeti Trinity Church (2,170 m) — one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks, with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek.

Return to Tbilisi in the evening, filled with unforgettable impressions.

Day 2: Kakheti Wine Region – Culture, Romance & Wine

In the morning, depart from Tbilisi toward Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region with an 8,000-year-old wine-making tradition.

Your first stop is Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important spiritual sites in Georgia and the resting place of Saint Nino, offering peaceful surroundings and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley.

Continue to Sighnaghi, known as the “City of Love.” Explore its charming streets, walk along the historic city walls, and enjoy breathtaking viewpoints overlooking vineyards and mountains.

End the day with a visit to a local family winery, where you will learn about traditional Georgian wine-making methods and enjoy wine tasting of regional varieties. An optional traditional Georgian lunch is available for those who wish to experience authentic local cuisine.

Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
