Discover Saxon wine culture. This full-day tour takes you through Germany's smallest but most traditional wine-growing region, from Radebeul via Meissen to Diesbar-Zehren and Moritzburg.
Adventure winery. Here you will have plenty of time to explore the magnificent baroque park with its vineyards. Enjoy the special atmosphere, visit the wine shop, and take the opportunity to taste regional wines and sparkling wines or take them home as a souvenir.
We will then switch to the left bank of the Elbe and continue to Meissen. Just before the city, we will make a photo stop at the world-famous Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory. For over 300 years, it has stood for the highest art of porcelain-making and is known worldwide for its trademark – the crossed swords.
After that, one of the most impressive parts of the tour begins. Your driver will take you through the historic alleys of the old town up Castle Hill directly to the Cathedral Square. There, the majestic Albrechtsburg and the imposing Meissen Cathedral await you, which together form the city's landmark. Albrechtsburg Castle is considered the oldest castle in Germany and is one of the most important buildings of the late Gothic period. Meissen is also considered the cradle of Saxony and impresses with its more than 1,000-year history.
This is where we take our lunch break. Cozy restaurants and taverns around the cathedral square invite you to linger. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to explore the cathedral with its late Gothic cloister, the cathedral museum, or the vantage points overlooking the Elbe Valley on your own.
After this cultural highlight, we will drive back over the Elbe Bridge to the right bank of the Elbe towards Diera-Zehren. Along the vineyards, you can once again enjoy wonderful views of the Elbe Valley and the Saxon wine country. The route then takes us through the varied landscape to Moritzburg Castle.
The Baroque moated castle is one of the most beautiful castles in Germany and became world-famous as the setting for the fairy tale film "Three Wishes for Cinderella." During our approximately 30-minute stay, you can explore the castle, the extensive park grounds, and the picturesque castle pond from the outside and take unforgettable souvenir photos.
With numerous impressions of vineyards, historic towns, magnificent castles and the unique landscape of the Elbe Valley, we will then begin our leisurely return journey to Dresden. Our tour ends back at Pirnaischer Platz, where a varied day full of culture, history, and Saxon hospitality comes to a close.

Meeting point for boarding and alighting – Pirnaischer Platz
The central meeting point for all our day tours is located at
car park at Pirnaischer Platz in Dresden.
The pick-up point is directly behind the tram stop at Pirnaischer Platz, in the immediate vicinity of the bus/train and a snack bar. The meeting point at the rear end of the car park is located on Wilsdruffer Straße / corner of St. Petersburger Straße and provides an ideal starting point for our tours. After an eventful day, we will return to this place.
Thanks to the central location, almost all hotels in Dresden's city center are within comfortable walking distance. Arriving by tram or bus is also easy and comfortable. For guests arriving with their own vehicle, paid parking is available in the area.

Up to 2 dogs can be brought along free of charge (seat in the owner's footwell, the last seats have a little more legroom), start/stop for photos. Narrated city tour, short break with the option to get out for a photo stop if interested. Round trip with start/stop at Pirnaischer Platz and change from the left to the right side of the Elbe in Dresden and back.
