Zakynthos boat trip to Blue Caves and shipwreck site

In the beginning, you will be transported to Agios Nikolaos harbour by luxurious 48-seat buses while the tour guide shares mythological stories and information about the history and culture of Zakynthos island. On your way, you will see tranquil villages and the deep blue sea.

When you arrive to the calm Agios Nikolaos harbor, you can drink a coffee or eat a breakfast before embarking on the speedboats that will take you to the white-sanded Shipwreck Bay, also known as Smugglers' Cove or Navagio beach. As the vessel glides through the glistening water, it is possible to catch a glimpse of dolphins or even monk seals. Upon arrival to one of the most magnificent beaches in the entire world, you are free to take as many photos as you like and afterwards head to a different beach on the west coast of Zakyntos for a refreshing swim in the Ionian Sea.

The next stop are the Blue Caves, to which you will be transported by the same speedboat. Don't worry - the speedboats are specifically designed for smooth and safe entry into the caves. When inside, you can marvel at the stunning geological formations and swim in the blue water. Due to only some wavelengths of visible light passing through the water and others being reflected, your skin will appear blue when you submerge into it.

Later, we return back to the picturesque Agios Nikolaos harbor, where you can take a stroll to unwind and enjoy a lunch of traditional Greek food in a local taverna by the sea. After finishing the delicious food, you sit on the bus to head to the final destination of the day - Xigia Bay. The water in the sea near this small beach is enriched in collagen and sulphur, since the mineral ions flow here from the nearby mountains. This creates a sea spa generated by nature itself, where you can relax and rejuvenate yourself after a long and eventful day.
