Begin your day with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta. Head to Kedung Kayang Waterfall, one of the most beautiful sunrise spots in Central Java. From the viewing deck, watch the silhouette of Mount Merapi standing majestically as the sun slowly rises. This place is very popular among photographers.
After enjoying the sunrise, continue your journey to Selogriyo Temple, an ancient temple located in the middle of rice fields and green hills. To reach the temple, take a light trek through terraced rice fields, small streams, and traditional villages.
Your final destination is Borobudur Temple, one of the largest Buddhist monuments in the world. See the grandeur of the mandala architecture, the reliefs of the stories of Buddha's life, and the calming spiritual atmosphere. The mandala area ticket is included, while the ticket to climb the structure (layers 9 & 10) is optional and follows regulations.
End the tour with a drop-off back at your hotel in Yogyakarta.
