Travel from Chiang Rai to Luang Prabang on a comfortable 2-day premium Mekong River cruise. This journey combines scenic river views, relaxed travel by slow boat, and well-organized transfers, allowing you to experience daily life along the Mekong River at an easy pace.

Day 1: Chiang Rai – Chiang Khong – Pak Beng

You will be picked up from your hotel in Chiang Rai early in the morning and transferred by van to the Chiang Khong border. Assistance is provided during the immigration process on both the Thai and Lao sides.
After crossing into Laos, you will board a premium slow boat and begin cruising down the Mekong River. Lunch is served on board, and there will be a stop to visit a local riverside village along the way.
After approximately 8 hours of cruising, you will arrive in Pak Beng in the late afternoon or early evening. Overnight accommodation in Pak Beng is not included.

Day 2: Pak Beng – Luang Prabang

In the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel in Pak Beng to the pier. The cruise continues downstream toward Luang Prabang, with lunch served on board.
During the journey, you will stop to visit the Pak Ou Caves and a local whiskey village. The cruise arrives in Luang Prabang in the late afternoon, followed by a transfer to your hotel in the city center.
