**Day 1: Valletta and Audiovisual Show**

Begin your adventure with a guided tour through the vibrant streets of Valletta. Discover the beauty of the fortified city built by the Knights in 1566. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Visit St. John’s Co-Cathedral (Optional Add-On or free time), including the Caravaggio masterpieces and beautiful marble inlaid floors in the world. Stroll down Republic Street past the Grand Masters’ Palace and St. George’s Square. End your day by watching the audiovisual show at the Malta Experience or Malta 5D, where Malta’s history comes to life.

**Day 2: Mdina**

Take a guided tour of Malta’s medieval city of Mdina. The narrow, winding streets, dating back to the Arab period, lead to imposing bastions, commanding a panoramic view. Discover different styles of architecture, including medieval Siculo-Norman palaces and Baroque buildings. Time stands still in this ‘Silent City’, a film-maker’s paradise. Proceed to the cliffs at Dingli. End your tour with a visit to San Anton botanical gardens situated near the Presidential Palace.

**Day 2: Mdina Optional Add-On**

Upgrade to a full-day guided tour including a 3-course lunch and a glass of wine. Explore the early Christian Catacombs in Rabat and the Ta’ Qali Crafts Village. Visit Mosta Church and admire its spectacular dome - one of the largest in Europe.

**Day 3: Three Cities**

Discover the Grand Harbour area opposite Valletta known as the Three Cities – Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, where the Knights of St. John first settled in 1530. Driving past Cospicua, reach Vittoriosa for a walking tour through the narrow streets in the shade of historic buildings, including the first auberges of the various langues of the Order. At the Vittoriosa waterfront, take a typical harbor boat (dghajsa) for a tour of the colorful harbor creeks. From the Senglea Garden, at the tip of the peninsula, enjoy a stunning 360° view of the Grand Harbour, including the impressive Fort Sant Angelo from where Grand Master La Valette led the defense of the island during the Great Siege of 1565.

**Day 3: Three Cities Optional Add-On**

On Wednesdays you can extend your morning tour with a second harbour cruise in the afternoon from Sliema including transport, to discover the beauty of Valletta’s two natural harbours – Marsamxett and the Grand Harbour.

**Day 4: Gozo**

After a short twenty-minute ferry crossing you will reach Mgarr harbour, which immediately sets the pace to Gozo’s unique atmosphere. Visit the Megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest free-standing monuments in the world, pre-dating the Pyramids of Egypt. Visit the medieval citadel in Victoria, the fjord-like bay at Xlendi and Dwejra. Gozo is well-known for its crafts, particularly handmade lace and knitted garments. Visitors cannot fail to be impressed by the island’s lush countryside, its serene atmosphere and how different it is from the larger island of Malta.
