Agafay isn't sand , it's a stone desert of bare hills forty minutes from Marrakech, and it changes character with the light: bright and wide at midday, gold at sunset. We run one camp there, with our own kitchen, our own staff, and a camel herd that carries official government tags, led by the same handlers who raised them.
Pick the version that fits your day. The lunch option leaves Marrakech mid-morning; the dinner option leaves between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and ends with a fire show under the stars.
Either way, the visit runs the same: mint tea on arrival, then a full 25 minutes on the saddletimed, never cut short, fine for first-timers, and kids ride with an adult. Afterwards the pool is yours, included in the price, with towels and changing rooms provided.
Then the meal: Moroccan salads, a tagine that has been simmering while you swam, dessert, and tea. A vegetarian option can be selected at checkout. Lunch guests eat with the desert stretched out in front of them; dinner guests stay on as the campfire is lit, the Gnawa musicians start, and the fire show closes the night.
Everything happens at one camp no bus shuttles between stops. You deal with the same team from pickup to drop-off.
