Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

Begin your journey with a pickup from Tangier. Leave the northern coast and drive through the scenic Rif Mountains, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of valleys, hills, and charming villages.

By midday, arrive in the enchanting Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco. Meet your local guide for a walking tour through the medina’s famous blue-painted streets, colorful markets, and picturesque squares. Discover landmarks such as the Kasbah Museum and Outa el Hammam Square, while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that makes Chefchaouen unique. After the guided visit, have free time for lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, continue towards Fes, passing through valleys and beautiful countryside views. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation. Dinner will be served at the hotel/riad, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Fes Guided Tour – Return to Tangier

After breakfast, begin with a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most fascinating imperial cities and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Start at the Royal Palace Gate, a beautiful example of Moroccan architecture with its impressive golden doors. From there, walk through the Mellah, the old Jewish Quarter, which was the first of its kind in Morocco and still reflects a unique part of the city’s history. Next, head to the Borj Nord viewpoint, where you can admire breathtaking panoramic views over the sprawling city of Fes.

Continue inside the historic Medina of Fes el-Bali, the oldest part of the city and a true living museum filled with narrow streets, vibrant souks, and centuries-old monuments. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, one of the city’s most beautiful Koranic schools, known for its intricate architecture. Another highlight is the Al-Qarawiyyin University and Mosque, recognized as the oldest existing university in the world.

Your guide will also take you to the famous tanneries, where leather is dyed using traditional methods unchanged for centuries. Finally, visit several artisan workshops, where local craftsmen produce pottery, tiles, carpets, and other traditional Moroccan goods, giving you a real taste of Fes’s rich artistic heritage.
