12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Flight duration: 45 minutes from Kathmandu to Lukla. Trek to Phakding takes 3-4 hours. Starting altitude: 2800m. Ascent: 1500m, Descent: 144m. Lodge accommodation.

Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Trek duration: 6-7 hours to reach 3450m. Ascent: 794m. Cross suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park.

Day 03: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Hike to Everest View Hotel at 3880m for views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Trek: 3-4 hours round trip.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
6-7 hour trek to 3867m. Ascent: 417m. Visit Tengboche Monastery with panoramic mountain views.

Day 05: Tengboche to Pheriche
5-6 hour trek to 4252m. Ascent: 385m. Cross Imja Khola river with Ama Dablam views.

Day 06: Rest day in Pheriche
Optional 2-3 hour hike to explore valley. Visit Tshola Tsho lake.

Day 07: Pheriche to Lobuche
5-6 hour trek to 4930m. Ascent: 678m. Follow Khumbu Glacier moraine.

Day 08: Lobuche to Gorak Shep & EBC
8-9 hour trek. Ascent: 434m to 5364m (EBC). Descend 200m to Gorak Shep.

Day 09: Kala Patthar then to Dingboche
Early ascent to 5554m includes 390m climb. Later descend 1194m to Dingboche.

Day 10: Dingboche to Namche Bazaar
8-9 hour trek back to 3450m via Tengboche.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
7-8 hour descent to 2846m. Farewell celebration.

Day 12: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
25-minute morning flight concludes trek. Transfer to hotel.
