From the moment you arrive in Puno, we'll take care of organizing your experience. We coordinate your pick-up from the bus terminal, train station, or a centrally located hotel, adapting to your arrival time from Cusco, Arequipa, the Colca Canyon, or another destination.

Travel by private taxi for approximately one hour and ten minutes to Luquina Chico, a quiet Aymara community located on the shores of Lake Titicaca. A local family will greet you and accompany you to Luquina Lodge Peru, a family-run accommodation where culture, nature, and comfort meet on the lakefront.

Rest in a double, twin, or family room, depending on the number of participants. All rooms have a lake view, a private bathroom, a hot shower, comfortable beds, and details inspired by the local culture. Some have a glass ceiling for watching the night sky, subject to availability.

Enjoy terraces with sunrise and sunset views, hammocks, gardens with native plants, and a panoramic vantage point. The accommodation uses solar energy as part of its commitment to caring for the environment.

During your stay, you will share experiences of everyday life in Luquina. Take part in a seasonal livestock or agricultural activity and voluntarily wear the traditional clothing while learning about its meaning. You can also choose between artisanal fishing or a ride on a traditional sailboat.

Visit the Uros-Titino floating islands on a private boat from Luquina. A family from the island will explain to you how they use totora to build and maintain their islands, homes, and boats. Learn about their customs, crafts, fishing techniques, and their close relationship with Lake Titicaca.

The order of the experience is adapted to your arrival time. If you arrive early, you can visit Uros Titino on the first day. If you arrive in the afternoon or evening, the visit will take place the following morning.

We'll also coordinate your departure based on the rest of your trip. At the end, a private taxi will take you to the land terminal, the train station, or a hotel in downtown Puno.

If bad weather or lake conditions prevent the visit to Uros Titino or any included activity, you will be given the option of accepting the proposed change, changing the date, or receiving a full refund. Rescheduling does not replace the right to a refund. If the experience can continue safely, only minor adjustments will be made to the schedule or order of activities.
