The tour involves walking in medieval towns and castles.
Weather can be unpredictable in the mountains. At its highest point, Trasfagarasan Highway has cold temperatures (10- 15 degrees). Have at least a jacket for the Balea stop and an umbrella or a raincoat just in case.
Bran and Peles Castel, as well as the fortified churches in Biertan and Viscri, have admission fees not included in the tour price.
