Discover the beauty of Khao Lak on this adventurous private day tour from Phuket. Take a trip on a bamboo raft down the river, drive an ATV in the jungle and visit the sea turtle conservation center.
Start your day by getting picked up around 8.00 AM from your hotel in Phuket by private car.

Around 10.00 AM we will start our first activity of the day and take a trip on a bamboo raft in a rainforest down the river. Along the way you will stop at a local farm to drink coffee from a bamboo cup, spot the flora and fauna of the jungle, and make a stop at a small lagoon where you can swim. When the rafting has concluded, you can enjoy some juice and a delicious Thai dessert.

Set off on an adventurous ride, and drive your own ATV quad bike for 1 hour in the jungle and sightseeing at a fruit farm. This ride is suitable for people of all levels of experience, even if you never drove an ATV before. Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch set at noon to recharge your batteries after a morning full of fun.

Visit the sea turtle conservation center in the afternoon, working to save and increase the number of sea turtles in the region. The Royal Thai Navy plays an active role in turtle conservation and baby turtles are brought to the center, where they are nursed for 6-8 months before being released into the sea.

To conclude this adventurous day tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Phuket around 4.30 PM with private taxi.

VIKTIG INFORMATION
The arrival back at your hotel might differ and can be 1 hour earlier or later, depending on how much time spent at the activities. It is not a 100% fixed schedule.
Please note that the transfer time between Phuket and Khao Lak is about 2 hours one-way.
You might get wet and dirty during the rafting and ATV. There is a shower room available for you to refresh after this.
About 1-3 persons can fit on 1 raft. In dry season there might be less water and the bamboo rafting might be less smooth than usual.
The driver of the private car speaks a little bit of English, just enough to communicate during the transport.
You can spend as long as you want in the turtle conservation center, where it is nice to learn about the conservation by the Royal Thai Navy.
Minimum age to drive the ATV yourself is 9 years old. From 9-15 years old a guide will sit at the back to guarantee safety.
If younger than 9, the person can sit at the back of an adult driving the ATV. (1 child per adult)
