Breathe underwater for the first time in Djerba on an introductory dive for beginners. Safety briefing, exercises in shallow water, then a boat trip to discover the marine life
Have you always dreamed of breathing underwater? Treat yourself to an unforgettable first scuba diving experience in Djerba, supervised by passionate professionals and designed to build your confidence from the very first minutes.

Before the activity, you can register for free on the MySSI app to access initial information and the “Try Scuba” content to prepare for your experience. Once at the dive center, your instructor will give you a comprehensive briefing covering safety, how the equipment works, underwater communication, and essential instructions.

You will then take some time to familiarize yourself with the equipment and perform a few simple exercises in shallow water near the beach (or in a pool, depending on the conditions) to ensure you are completely at ease. When you are ready, you will board the boat to set off to explore the underwater world of Djerba and enjoy your first dive in complete confidence, closely supervised by your instructor.

All equipment is provided, and the small group size ensures personalized attention. And if the experience inspires you to go further, you can continue with an SSI Basic Diver program and earn credits towards the SSI Scuba Diver or SSI Open Water Diver courses.

Full duration: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
Time in the water (diving): approx. 30 minutes

If you decide to continue your adventure, you can sign up for an SSI Open Water Diver course and become a scuba diver.
