Set off on an unforgettable 2-day, 1-night experience in the heart of the Tunisian south, departing from Hammamet, Sousse, or Tunis.
This tour takes you to see the most beautiful landscapes and cultural sites in Tunisia, including historical heritage, Berber villages, and total immersion in the Sahara Desert.
The first day begins with a visit to the holy city of Kairouan, one of the oldest Islamic cities in the world. You will then continue to Matmata, famous for its cave dwellings and its unique setting that served as a filming location for Star Wars.
You will also visit the Berber village of Tamazret and enjoy lunch at a local home to discover traditional local cuisine.
The adventure continues to Ksar Ghilane, a spectacular oasis in the middle of the desert, where you can enjoy the natural hot springs and admire the Saharan landscape.
At the end of the day, you will watch a magical sunset over the sand dunes before spending an unforgettable night in a tent in the heart of the desert, under an exceptional starry sky.
On Day 2, after the sunrise over the dunes, you'll continue your journey to the south of Tunisia, exploring Tataouine, Chenini and the magnificent Ksar Haddada, famous for their traditional Berber architecture.
On the way back, you will also visit the Roman amphitheater in El Jem, one of the best preserved in the world, before returning to your departure city.
