1.Tianmen Mountain: Where Nature Meets Human Ingenuity
Tianmen Mountain captivates visitors with its dramatic geological formations and remarkable engineering. Walk among the clouds and take in breathtaking vistas made accessible by world-class infrastructure.
· Highlights: the 99-bend mountain road,Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate), The Stairway to Heaven (999 steps), one of the world's longest passenger cableways, and the thrilling Glass Skywalk.
2.Traditional Chinese Painting: Capture the Landscape in Ink
Unwind in a tranquil studio, just a 5-minute walk from the lower terminal of the Tianmen Mountain Cableway in downtown Zhangjiajie. Learn the ancient art of ink painting under the guidance of a local artist. Using brush, ink, and rice paper, you’ll depict Zhangjiajie’s unique quartz-sandstone peaks—and create a personal souvenir to take home.
