Bruges is a Belgian city in the Flemish Region. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bruges is known as the "Venice of the North", because of the many canals that encircle and cross the city, and the remains of fortresses and windmills.
Today, rich in history, Bruges remains one of the witnesses of Flemish art, with its historic center and numerous museums and tourist attractions.
The Belfry, the Grand Place, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Beguinage, ... will all enchant you during your walking tour. You'll also appreciate the city of Bruges through its many canals, during a boat trip (in English and French), replaced in winter by a visit to the Gothic Hall of the Town Hall.
