Take a day trip from Perth to Namburg National Park to see the remarkable Pinnacles. Stop along the way at Yanchep Lavender Farm and choose to enjoy an optional lobster lunch in Cervantes. Leave city life behind for a day tour of some of Western Australia’s natural wonders.
Your first stop is at the picturesque Yanchep Lavender Farm. Take in the aroma and explore the healing properties of lavender, or try some delicious products such as the lavender ice cream from their cafe.
Continue onto the pretty seaside town of Cervantes, home to the West Coast Lobster industry. Enjoy a sumptuous lobster lunch at the beachfront Lobster Shack (additional cost).
Take a stroll along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to see some of the world's oldest known living fossils known as Stromatolites. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, wander through a kaleidoscope of wildflowers, including the banksia, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws.
With lungs full of fresh sea air, it’s time to journey to the Nambung National Park to see the remarkable Pinnacles desert. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea. Thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert.
Visit the visitor information center to learn all about these structures before walking a few hundred meters in the desert to get up close to the intriguing limestone formations. After exploring the area, settle in for the ride back down to Perth where your day tour concludes.
