Begin your journey with a comfortable pickup from central Tirana. Travel south through Albania’s scenic central lowlands, with a relaxed 20-minute stop at the shores of Lake Belshi, one of Albania’s most picturesque artificial lakes. Enjoy a morning coffee and take photos before continuing to your destination.

Upon arrival at Hani i Qerosit, be welcomed with warmth and traditional Albanian hospitality. The farm is a family-run agritourism property that blends untouched nature with authentic rural life, surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of the Albanian countryside.

Choose from 3 different activities:

Option 1 – Albanian Cooking Class: Step into the farm kitchen and learn the secrets of traditional Albanian cuisine guided by an expert local chef. Get hands-on with beloved dishes such as byrek (savory pastry), tavë kosi (baked lamb with yogurt), or ute me perime (stuffed vegetables), using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The chef shares stories behind each recipe, connecting the food to Albanian culture and history. Roll dough, layer fillings, and stir bubbling pots, then sit down and enjoy the meal you’ve prepared together.

Option 2 – Goat Milking Experience: Connect directly with farm life in a way rarely offered to visitors. Under the guidance of the farm team, participate in the daily routine of milking goats, learning the technique and understanding how fresh milk is used to produce local dairy products such as djathë i bardhë (white cheese), kos (yogurt), and kaçkavall.

Option 3 – Wine Tasting: Albania has a rich but little-known wine heritage, and this tasting session showcases local varieties in a relaxed, scenic setting. Sample carefully selected Albanian wines, including varieties grown in the fertile Myzeqe plain and Berat region, paired with artisan local cheeses, olives, and seasonal produce from the farm. Your guide will walk you through the character of each wine and explain the role of viticulture in Albanian rural tradition.
