Make the most of a layover at Zayed International Airport. Your private driver-guide takes you to the Grand Mosque, the presidential palace and city landmarks, then back to the airport in good time.
Abu Dhabi's top sights are close to the airport, so even a short layover is enough to see the capital. Your private driver-guide meets you in the arrivals hall at Zayed International Airport. Store your hand luggage safely in the vehicle while you explore.
Start at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a short drive away, and walk among its white marble domes, reflecting pools and crystal chandeliers. Then step inside Qasr Al Watan, the working presidential palace, to see its Great Hall and House of Knowledge library.
Stop for photos at the neighbouring Emirates Palace, visit the Heritage Village for a glimpse of life before oil, and pause on the Corniche for skyline and beach views. Your guide then drives you back to the airport, arriving at least 3 hours before your onward flight.

Minimum layover: 9 hours. The tour lasts about 5 hours 15 minutes, and you must be back at the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
You must be eligible to enter the UAE and pass through immigration. Check visa rules for your nationality before booking.
Share your flight numbers and arrival time when booking; pickup time follows your actual landing time.
Hotel pickup in Abu Dhabi is also possible on request.
On Fridays the mosque closes to visitors from 11:30 to 14:30, so the order of stops may change.
Mosque and palace dress code: shoulders and knees covered; women cover their hair at the mosque.
