Meet Santa Claus's reindeer in their autumn habitat in Rovaniemi. Learn about Lappish life and reindeer husbandry, and enjoy a traditional campfire coffee in a Lappish Kota.
Experience the autumn glow of Lapland at the Arctic Circle. Meet Santa Claus’s reindeer, hear stories of Lappish life, and feel the magic of the season in the heart of Santa Claus Village.
In autumn, Rovaniemi changes. The forests around Santa Claus Village turn gold and red, and the reindeer grow their thick coats ready for the winter season. At Santa Claus Reindeer, step straight into this season.
Meet Santa Claus’s reindeer in their natural autumn look. See how the calves have grown through the summer, watch the reindeer coats change for the colder season, and admire the surrounding forest glowing in shades of yellow, red, and orange.
Get close to the animals, and listen to stories and in-depth information about how reindeer have shaped Lapland for centuries. The bustle of the village fades to the sound of hooves, the crackle of fire, and voices carrying old traditions.
Pause for a coffee served in a "Lappish Kota", while the fire crackles and the tree hums around you.
