Guzhuang Village: a tranquil Zhuang minority village nestled at the base of the terraces. Walk along stone-paved paths lined with wooden houses that have stood for over 100 years. Visit the local museum showcasing traditional costumes, weaving tools, musical instruments, and ancestral artifacts. Hear stories of migration, agriculture, and family life passed down for generations. This is a peaceful, lesser-known stop that offers rare insight into mountain village heritage.
Hands-on Oil-tea Experience & Traditional Zhuang Lunch: Continue to Ping'an Village, where a warm local welcome awaits. Roll up your sleeves for a fun and flavorful tea-oil soup workshop: roast peanuts and soybeans, grind your own blend, and mix it with fragrant tea to create the signature 'Longji oil tea.' Hike or Shuttleto the Best Terrace Viewpoint: Depending on your energy level, choose to hike 30–40 minutes uphill through the village and farmland trails, or take a scenic cable car to the top. Either way, the reward is breathtaking: a panoramic view of the rice terraces cascading across the mountains like waves of green silk. This is one of the most iconic landscapes in all of China - bring your camera and soak in the moment.

From early November to late March, the Longji Rice Terraces enter their off-season after the harvest. During this time, there are no golden rice fields, but you may witness the stunning “mirror terraces,” where water reflects the sky. By booking tours during this period, you acknowledge and accept this seasonal variation in scenery.
Tips: Wear comfy hiking shoes, as there are some hikings during the day.
