Day 1: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Begin with a morning pickup from your hotel. Enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park through the Main Gate and ascend via the Bailong Elevator, a glass-walled lift bolted to a cliff face that carries you 326 meters upward in under two minutes.
At the top, step into Yuanjiajie, where narrow pillars cluster so densely you'll feel suspended in another world. Continue to Tianzi Mountain, where clouds often pool between the peaks like a silver sea. Descend by cable car and wander through Ten-Mile Gallery, a verdant valley where rock formations resemble animals, warriors, and sleeping giants.
Day 2: Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge
Walk across the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, a 430-meter span of transparency suspended 300 meters above the canyon floor. Every step is a rush. Then trade walking for flying: a high-altitude zipline carries you across the gorge, a mountain slide spirals you downward through a narrow crevice known as Yixiantian, and a gentle boat ride on Rainbow Lake lets you catch your breath amid reflections of green cliffs.
