The Christkindlesmarkt has developed since the 16th century from the Kindleinsmarkt to today's tourist attraction visited by guests from all over the world. The tour tells entertaining stories about children's gift-giving days, the Barbie doll of the Middle Ages and Christmas specialties such as the Kaiserlein, the Rauschgoldengel and the "Zwetschgermoh". Above all, the diverse Christmas tastings, such as the finest Elisen gingerbread, steaming mulled wine and hearty bratwurst make the walk an experience for all the senses.
