DAY 1: fly from Addis and Drive to Turmi via Omo National Park
Travel through Omo National Park, one of Africa’s most remote wildlife reserves. Enjoy picnic lunch en route and continue to Turmi, home of the Hamer people.
Overnight: Paradise Lodge, Turmi.
Day 2: Discover the Hamer Tribe & Turmi Market
Visit the colorful Turmi market to meet the Hamer people and photograph their vibrant attire. If available, witness the dramatic bull-jumping ceremony an ancient rite of passage and family celebration.
Overnight: Paradise Lodge, Turmi.
Day 3: Excursion to Dassanach Tribe, Omorate
Early morning drive to Omorate to visit the Dassanach people near Lake Turkana. Photograph their distinctive attire and village life before returning to Turmi for a sunset shoot in a Hamer village.
Overnight: Paradise Lodge, Turmi.
Day 4: Visit Arbore Tribe Village
Depart before dawn to the Arbore tribe village near Mount Buska. Capture sunrise photos of the strikingly beautiful Arbore people, known for their dark skin, shaved heads, and colorful beadwork. Return to Turmi after lunch.
Overnight: Paradise Lodge, Turmi.
Day 5: Explore Kara Tribe Village & Drive to Jinka
Visit the Kara people of Duse village on the Omo River, famous for elaborate body painting and riverbank scenes. Photograph daily life and herding traditions before heading to Jinka.
Day 6: Ari Village Visit & Fly Back to Addis Ababa
Morning visit to an Ari village known for pottery and sorghum farming. Enjoy your final photo opportunities before returning to Jinka for lunch and your flight back to Addis Ababa.
End of Tour.
