Visit the train cemetery and Colchani to observe the craftsmanship and salt process. Inside the salt flat, we will see the Dakar monument, the Salt Museum and Incahuasi Island with its giant cacti.
We start by picking up guests from the hotel in Uyuni and then visit the train cemetery to explore the old locomotives.
Then we visited Colchani, the main entrance to the Salar, where there are artisan workshops and a simple table salt processing plant.
Continuing our exploration towards the impressive Salar de Uyuni, we will make stops to observe salt extraction, the "eyes of the salt flat" and the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel Museum, currently functioning as a museum.
Then we will explore the most famous island of the Salar, located in its center, called Incahuasi. Here we will walk among large cacti, see marine fossils and enjoy 360° panoramic views from the viewpoint.
To conclude our route, we head back to the town of Uyuni.
