Our tour begins at the General Cemetery, one of the most interesting places in the city to learn about La Paz's history from a different perspective. As we stroll through some of its most iconic areas, we'll discover mausoleums, historical figures, funerary art, traditions, and some of the customs related to death that are part of La Paz's cultural identity.
We'll then take one of La Paz's famous cable cars to head to the Historic Center. This journey will be an important part of the experience: as we travel above the city, we'll be able to see from above how La Paz stretches out between mountains, hillsides, and buildings, and how its different neighborhoods adapt to one of the most unique urban geographies in South America.
Upon arriving at the Historic Center, we'll start a walking tour of some of La Paz's most iconic and outstanding sites. We'll visit historical sites, squares, churches, heritage buildings, and other places that have played a key role in different periods of the city's history.
The experience will also give you an insight into the city from an everyday perspective: how its inhabitants live, how its neighborhoods are connected, what its traditions are, and why La Paz has such a distinctive cultural identity.

During part of the tour, we'll walk outdoors and be exposed to the sun. We recommend wearing a hat or cap, applying sunscreen, and wearing appropriate clothing to protect yourself from solar radiation, which can be intense in La Paz due to the altitude. These measures will help prevent sunburn and discomfort during the sightseeing tour.
