Death Route and Uyuni Salt Flat by Bicycle 3 Days

Explore Bolivia’s highlights on this 3-day biking tour: ride the Death Road, visit the Uyuni Salt Flat, see the Dakar Monument, and stop by Colchani.
Day 1
Mountain biking starts at 7:30 AM.
Point 1: A 22 km descent on paved road.
At the police checkpoint (after 45 minutes), all visitors pay Bs. 50 for the national park entrance. This segment is for getting comfortable with the bike.
Don’t worry, the safety van follows the group, and there are stops for water, photos, and bike checks.
Point 2: "Death Road" for about 10 km in a compact group (safety first!) with a snack break.
Point 3: About 32 km with a splashy waterfall to start! The ride ends in Yolosa, where you’ll find a hotel with showers, a pool, and a buffet lunch. Around 5:00 PM, return to La Paz via the new road.
After the "Death Road Tour," the guide will drop you at the bus office for your bus from La Paz to Uyuni.

Pack your bags as you won’t return to your hotel.
The bus departs at 9:00 PM.

Day 2
Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 AM and head to our office, located one block from the bus station.
Free time to buy water, snacks, and use the restrooms.
Your tour starts at 10:30 AM, departing from Uyuni to the Uyuni Salt Flat (full-day tour). Visit the Uyuni Train Graveyard to see Bolivia’s first locomotives and take incredible photos.
Next, visit Colchani (salt miner workshops) and see salt crafts and textiles made from llama and alpaca wool.
Take photos while navigating the vast white salt flats.
Then, visit "Salty Water Eyes," a salt hotel-museum, the Flag Island, and the famous Dakar Monument.

Lunch will be served near "Incahuasi Island." Afterward, hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti and coral rock formations, and enjoy 360º views of the Uyuni Salt Flat.
Take time for fun perspective and distorted proportion photos on the dazzling salt surface.
Then, head to a spacious area to experience a beautiful sunset over the salt flats with a glass of wine and some fries.
Return to Uyuni at our office by 7:00 PM. Then, head to the Bus Office by 8:30 PM, as your bus from Uyuni to La Paz departs at 9:00 PM.

Day 3
Arrive in La Paz at 6:30 AM.
