Begin your journey with a pickup from your accommodation in Sarajevo. Relax during the scenic drive toward Bjelašnica Mountain as the city gradually gives way to forests, mountain villages, and wide-open highland landscapes.

Upon arrival at Honey Valley, meet your professional quad guide and receive your safety equipment and a short introduction before starting the adventure. No previous quad-riding experience is required.

Set off across Bjelašnica on a guided quad ride through spectacular mountain scenery, remote roads, and open plateaus. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and experience a part of Bosnia that remains far away from the usual tourist routes.

After approximately one hour of riding, arrive in Lukomir, one of the highest and most traditional inhabited villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located at around 1,495 meters above sea level. Walk through the village, see its traditional stone houses, and learn about the lifestyle of the families who have lived in this mountain region for generations.

Take time to enjoy the views toward the dramatic Rakitnica Canyon and discover the peaceful atmosphere of a village where traditions are still part of everyday life. One of the highlights of the experience is a traditional Bosnian lunch prepared and served by a local family.

Rather than visiting Lukomir only for photographs, sit down and experience genuine Bosnian hospitality. Enjoy homemade local food prepared using traditional recipes and ingredients, while having the opportunity to learn more about life in Lukomir directly from the people who call the village home.

Depending on the season and availability, the meal may include traditional Bosnian and mountain specialties such as homemade bread, local cheese, pies, seasonal vegetables, and other regional dishes.

After lunch and approximately 90 minutes in Lukomir, return to your quad and begin the scenic ride back across Bjelašnica Mountain to Honey Valley. Your driver will be waiting for you there for the comfortable return journey to Sarajevo.
