At the embarkation point, you will board a fast and comfortable voadeira, a motorized boat perfect for exploring the winding river and its surroundings. The first leg of the trip takes about 40 minutes, during which you’ll cruise through lush mangroves and witness the region’s rich biodiversity.
Your first stop is the charming village of Vassouras, known for its deep lagoons that form during the rainy season, inviting visitors to enjoy refreshing swims amid nature’s tranquility.
