The historical center of Mindelo city is the cultural heart of Cape Verde. The colorful houses, colonial buildings, the bustling city life and the cozy harbor provide the lively atmosphere. The guide will pick you up by your accommodation and walk you along all the highlights in Mindelo.

This half-day tour is an ideal first introduction to the city. Discover the fish, fruit- and veggies market, the African square "Praca Estrela", the pink people's palace, the townhall, the Torre de Belem replica, and much more. Stop in the local shops to buy hand crafted souvenirs or locally grown rum (Grogue) and coffee. The most famous singer of the island, Cesaria Evora is a real icon of Sao Vicente and her museum is not to be missed during the city tour.
