Your guide will meet you at your hotel at 7:30 A.M. to begin with a comfortable, scenic drive up the historic Kulen Mountain. At the summit, the adventure shifts to an immersive motorbike tour. As you leave the paved roads and follow the dirt paths into the jungle you will be surrounded by the greenery and nature all around you. Your drivers will negotiate these rough dirt tracks with absolute skill, leaving you to admire and enjoy your surroundings.
The circuit begins with a stop at The Bat Cave in a small village, followed by a bumpy but rewarding ride to Sras Damrei (Elephant Pond), where you can admire 9th-century stone carvings being reclaimed by nature. The historical journey continues at Damrei Krab Temple, where your guide will reveal the secrets of the mountain and the recently discovered ancient city. You will then visit Aram Rong Chen, the central town and the only visible part of that ancient metropolis. The final stretch offers stunning views before reaching Prasat O’Paong, a brick temple where you can observe ongoing restoration.
After the ride, you'll enjoy a local lunch at a stream-side restaurant, watching the local way of life. The tour concludes with a refreshing walk to the beautiful Kulen Waterfall before journeying back to Siem Reap.
