On Day 1, meet your private guide at your downtown Shanghai hotel and start with a visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town. Known for its canals, stone bridges, old streets, and traditional houses, Zhujiajiao offers a relaxing look at the water town culture near Shanghai. Walk through the old lanes, enjoy the canal views, and learn about local history from your guide.

Continue to Jing’an Temple, one of Shanghai’s best-known temples located in the heart of the city. See its traditional architecture, golden details, incense culture, and peaceful courtyards surrounded by modern skyscrapers.

Later, visit the Bund, Shanghai’s most famous waterfront area. Enjoy views of the historic buildings along the Huangpu River and the modern skyline of Pudong, including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower from the outside. After the tour, return to your hotel in Shanghai.

On Day 2, your guide will meet you again and accompany you to the train station for the bullet train to Hangzhou.
