Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Shanghai. Then, head to Wuzhen, a town divided into two main areas: Dongzha and Xizha. Xizha is considered the essence of Wuzhen. Although it is a major tourist attraction like Dongzha, it lacks the bustling market atmosphere of the latter.

Everything in Xizha has been renovated and designed, with coffee shops and bars on every street corner, exuding an artistic vibe. Take a gondola ride at night through Xizha, and see the water town scenery under the glow of lanterns and the sound of oars.

The West Market River runs through Xizha from east to west, and a network of small canals crisscrosses the area, dividing it into many small islands. These islands are connected by dozens of ancient stone bridges, each with its own unique design. The old buildings are built along the water, showcasing the typical water town scenery of the Jiangnan region.
