Just 13 km from Santa Marta is Minca, a charming mountain village located 700 meters above sea level. Surrounded by lush vegetation, waterfalls, and tropical birds, this destination is renowned for its biodiversity and the cultural richness of its rural communities.
This 4-hour experience invites you to discover the secrets of artisanal coffee and cacao in their natural environment. We will start with an ecological hike along sloping, unpaved rural trails, where we will cross small crystal-clear streams and enjoy the green surroundings of the Sierra Nevada.
We will visit a local farm dedicated to artisanal coffee production. There, you will learn about each stage of the cultivation, harvest, and transformation of the bean, and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee while learning about its aromas, flavors, and traditions.
Then, you will participate in a cacao workshop where you will explore the history of chocolate in Colombia, taste cacao products, and enjoy a unique sensory experience centered around this ancient fruit.
In addition to learning and tasting, you will have time to relax in a natural and peaceful environment, ideal for reconnecting with the earth and yourself.
