After a quick flight to Kauai, your small-group mini coach tour begins with a scenic drive up State Road 550 to Waimea Canyon, often called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." Spanning 14 miles and plunging over 3,600 feet deep, its vibrant red and green cliffs create an unforgettable panorama. Along the way, your guide will point out Nawiliwili Harbor, Poipu Resorts, Queen Victoria’s Profile, and, on clear days, views of the Forbidden Island of Ni‘ihau.

NOTE: Waimea Canyon Lookout will be closed from 4/14/25 through approximately 12/8/25 for slope and foundation repairs. We will substitute the closed lookout with a stop at Pu‘uhinahina Lookout, which offers a different but impressive view of Waimea Canyon. We’ll also make a few additional photo stops to give guests more time to enjoy the scenery.

Next, stop at Old Kōloa Town, a historic sugar plantation village, where you'll have time to explore local shops and enjoy lunch on your own at a charming local eatery.

Then, travel to Kauai’s lush east side for a relaxing Wailua River cruise. Glide along Hawaii’s only navigable river, surrounded by rainforest-covered cliffs, as your guide shares the history of this sacred waterway. At the end of the cruise, step into the enchanting Fern Grotto, a natural lava rock amphitheater covered in hanging ferns.

Before heading back to the airport, visit Opaeka‘a Falls, a stunning 151-foot waterfall, and stop at the sacred birthstone site, where ancient Hawaiian royalty was born. These locations provide a glimpse into Hawaii’s deep cultural roots and traditions.
