Begin your day with a serene Zodiac boat ride on the beautiful waters of Fjallsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Our skilled guides navigate you through a mesmerizing landscape of icebergs in various shapes and sizes, creating a captivating natural show. Take in the breathtaking views of Fjallsjökull and Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier, as you glide peacefully through this frozen wonderland.

Following the boat ride, join a crowd free glacier hike led by our expert guides at Fjallsjokull Glacier, a place with exclusive and secluded access just for you. You will be transferred to the start of the hike on one of our 4X4’s. Immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of the icy terrain. Capture unforgettable moments and explore the glacier's unique features.
The glacier hike starts with a 4X4 transfer from our base camp to the starting point of the hike. There is an approx. 45-minute hike in beautiful terrain along the banks of Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon before reaching the Fjallsjökull glacier. You will spend around 1-1.5 hours on the glacier before returning back.

This exciting journey provides a fresh perspective on the surrounding area, making your trip back to the starting point both engaging and enjoyable. Feel the thrill of the rugged landscapes and soak in the beauty of the Icelandic wilderness.

*Please note that this is a combo tour of two separate activities run by Fjallsárlón ehf. and operated from the same base at Fjallsárlón.
*In total this tour is between 5.5 – 6.5 hours long depending on what departure time is selected.
*The order of activities, boat tour and glacier hike, can vary between departure times. If you select the 9:00am departure time, the tour will start with a glacier hike. All other departure times start with a boat tour.
*There is always a 1-1.5 hour break between activities where guests can get refreshments at FROST restaurant and use the restroom.
