From Bova: Private Ghost Town Trip to Roghudi Vecchio

Discover Roghudi Vecchio, on the slopes of Aspromonte, the "ghost town" full of legends and mysteries, in the company of a private nature guide.
You will meet the guide in Bova, the starting point of the activity. You'll continue with your vehicle - for about 18 km - following the guide, along a paved road that climbs up to the famous Fields of Bova.

Along the way you'll stop to admire some interesting sites, such as the "Passo della Zita", a bridge that takes its name from an ancient legend, and the "Rocche e Caldaie del Drako", a mysterious geological site.

As soon as you reach the entrance of the abandoned village,Rughudi, you will park your car in a safe place and continue on foot, crossing the alleys and houses that were abandoned by the people of Rughudi around 1970, following a flood.

Thanks to the guide's stories, you will know the history, the myths, the legends and the sufferings of a place that seems entrusted to the void but that with its historical charm can tell everything.

Once the visit is over, you will return to Bova with your vehicle, following the guide with whom you have discovered one of the most mysterious and fascinating places in Calabria.
