Explore the southern of Saona Island and escape the crowds to experience the fishing village of Mano Juan and the virgin beach of Canto de la playa on our family-friendly boat.
A transport will be waiting for you at the taxi stand, located at the exit of the cruise terminal, where all passengers from your cruise will gather. The driver will drive you to our office in Bayahibe, the starting point of the adventure.
Join us in Bayahibe for an adventure aboard our awaiting boat, perfect for families.
Get ready for an intimate journey to Saona Island!
We'll start by exploring Penon, where our guide will delve into its history and the Taino people. Then, we'll navigate through mangroves, passing by thriving Palétuvier trees.
Upon arrival at Saona Island, we'll visit Mano Juan village, observing local life amidst colorful houses and quaint shops. A stop at a turtle nursery managed by locals offers insight into their conservation efforts, although seeing newborns isn't guaranteed due to seasonal changes.
Lunchtime offers a taste of Dominican cuisine with breathtaking views of Saona Beach. During lobster season (July 1st - February 29th), it's available for $25 per person. Later, we'll head to Canto de la Playa, a pristine beach perfect for relaxation or snorkeling.
Our last stop is a natural pool inhabited by large starfish (please refrain from touching). Guests can take a dip in the shallow waters while enjoying refreshing drinks, concluding the journey with unforgettable memories upon returning to Bayahibe port.
The tour will conclude in Bayahibe, where your transport awaits to take you back to the La Romana port.

A driver will be waiting for you, just say you have reservation with Dominican Attitude in Bayahibe.
He will drive to you our office in Bayahibe, departure point of the tour.
