Cairo: Grand Egyptian Museum Entry Ticket

Visitors are expected to maintain a respectful and quiet demeanor throughout the exhibition. The GEM team reserves the right to take necessary action against any disruptive behavior.
Non-commercial photography with mobile phones is permitted. For other types of photography, please contact our GEM team regarding regulations and additional costs.
The following items are not permitted in the exhibition: Backpacks or duffle bags, food or drinks, weapons of any
kind.
The ticket does not include access to the Tutankhamun galleries or the Solar Boats Museum.
The Grand Hall contains valuable artifacts that have been preserved for thousands of years. To help us protect them, please refrain from touching exhibits, eating in the main hall, or smoking inside the museum.
Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the galleries.
Kindly note that there's a Parking Fees (to be paid on-site): Vehicle: 50 EGP, Van or microbus: 150 EGP, Bus: 250 EGP.
The Grand Egyptian Museum Metro: Take the Cairo Metro to the Giza station on Line 2. This is the closest metro station to the museum. Bus: From the Giza metro station, you can take a local bus or microbus heading towards the Pyramids of Giza. Buses frequently run along Al-Haram Street, which is a main road leading to the pyramids and the museum. Taxi: Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the Giza metro station directly to the museum. Taxis are readily available and can be a convenient option if you prefer a quicker and more direct route.
