From May 15 through August 30, the lagoon is lit up by bioluminescent plankton. These tiny organisms sparkle with every paddle stroke, creating glowing trails behind your kayak or paddleboard. It’s like watching the stars fall into the water. The rest of the year, the focus shifts to bioluminescent comb jellies—gentle, glowing creatures that illuminate when touched. They’re completely safe and an incredible sight, especially for kids and families.
