Come join us on the best guided kayak tour of St. Pete, which goes to Shell Key. We'll leave from the edge of the 1,800-acre Shell Key nature preserve in Tierra Verde, FL. You'll get the best kayaking tour around the mangrove biome in the Shell Key nature preserve, exploring some of the hidden mangrove tunnels.
Under the mangroves, you will feel very connected to the environment. You'll paddle through the mangroves, home to dolphins, manatees, rays, horseshoe crabs, and many types of fish. You'll also see various shorebirds, such as pelicans, egrets, herons, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills, and sometimes even pink flamingos.
Once we arrive at Shell Key Island, you'll have the chance to take a break, stretch your legs, and explore the island. It's a great place to collect shells.
Your professional guide will give you a fascinating narration on the background and the biology of the 1,800-acre preserve, and there will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures.
