Bishoftu is a one hour drive form Addis south their are seven volcanic created lakes you can have a boat trip for an hour so this is is can be done in four to five hours,
Lake Zeway located in the south of a Addis one hundred forty kilo meters the journey will take maximum two and half hour ro get their the visiting the bird island you need two hours and continue to one of the monastery near by hiking for an hour and having lunch in one of the local restaurant fresh fish tilapia so basically it takes between 8 to 10 hours til to get back to Addis Ababa.
