The midnight sun is one of the most amazing phenomena in Lapland during the summer months. During June and July, the sun does not set below the horizon. Experience amazing displays of colors as they slowly settle over the horizon. On this tour you will be taken to the best locations around Rovaniemi to experience and photograph this unique natural phenomenon. This tour begins in Rovaniemi where you'll be driven from to a few different locations to catch the vivid light of the sunset. The tour is scheduled around midnight in order for you to photograph the best moments of both the sunset and the sunrise.
You'll be taken to locations chosen for their great scenery and nature. You will have the chance to photograph next to rivers, forests, and wilderness areas in order to capture authentic Lappish landscapes under the midnight sun. Learn the basics of photographing in dusk light and how to catch all the amazing colors with your camera. During the tour a campfire will be set up for you to enjoy some BBQ snacks while experiencing the night-less night in the middle of authentic Lappish scenery.
