Join a foraging tour in Helsinki and learn about Finnish mushrooms. Head to the Kalastajatorppa tennis club for a cooking class and enjoy a delicious meal made with the mushrooms you foraged.
Meet your guide outside the Helsinki Art Museum and begin your adventure with a short introduction. Then, head to a nearby national park, where you’ll learn about the different mushrooms that can be found in Finnish forests.
Begin your foraging adventure through the park’s beautiful scenery. If you’re lucky, you might encounter some of Finland’s beautiful wildlife, such as deer, foxes, and various birds. After foraging for around two hours, head to the prestigious Kalastajatorppa Tennis Club.
Learn how to cook your foraged mushrooms into a delicious risotto or pasta. Enjoy the fruits of your labor with a delicious dinner together. Drinks are available to purchase at the bar.

Foraging and cooking are subject to seasonal availability of ingredients. In a case of not finding an adequate amount of mushrooms we will provide ingredients from prior forraging excursions ensuring that the cooking class is made possible regardless. Cancellations must be done 24 hours prior at the latest.
