Discover or rediscover one of the most famous private chateaux in the Loire Valley, with a fun tour for all ages!
Come and discover the history of a castle where the kings and queens of France lived. We'll talk about silly deaths, conspiracies, construction, and war. We'll also retrace the genealogy of the kings of France, including Napoleon; but don't worry, we'll do it with a little humor and funny anecdotes. During this tour, we'll talk about various characters from very different eras, and we'll even mention Algeria.
Heads up: this tour is interactive, and you'll need to join in by answering my questions or even trying to remember the names of our kings and queens.
This castle, privately owned for centuries, remains a jewel of France's heritage, with a magnificent view of the Loire.
I'll meet you in front of the castle for a 90-minute guided tour, which will end on the terraces of the Royal Castle of Amboise with a beautiful panorama of the Loire.
For a more comfortable visit, I use a transmitter and headphone system for groups of more than 2 people. This will make the visit and understanding even better.
A little extra: If you like Leonardo da Vinci, don't hesitate to complete your visit with that of Clos Lucé, which I also offer. Add this visit in the other half of your day because this other castle is just a stone's throw from the Château des Rois.
