Spend a day, discovering the fascinating setting and history of Celles, before plunging into the red earth of the canyon des ruffes and tasting delicious local wines.
Celles, an incredible story : an ancient village typical of the Languedoc countryside, Celles was abandoned in the 1960s with the prospect of the creation of the artificial Salagou lake. The plan was for the lake's filling to engulf the village, but in the end the waters stayed at the foot of the buildings. A veritable ghost village for many years, Celles has now been given a new lease of life, offering an enchanting setting on the shores of the lake.

Red earth hiking near Montpellier : Discover Colorado without leaving the Hérault! Dunes, large expanses of red earth called ruffe, then a stream, a small river... It's magical, like being in Colorado, but 30 minutes from Montpellier. The little stream, sometimes dry, meanders and intrigues us. Little by little, it changes, grows and even turns into a canyon. In winter, the walk takes us all the way to a beautiful 30 m high waterfall, no less! After the effort, we'll have a picnic in the middle of nature, in these magical settings.

Capitelles : unusual vestiges of Languedoc know-how, typically local. As you stroll along, you'll fall under the spell of these pretty constructions set out along the path. These little huts were built in dry stone, i.e. without mortar. They were used, among other things, as temporary shelters by farmers.

Oenological tour of Terrasse du Larzac : Discover a family estate that has been in the family for several generations, classified as Terrasse du Larzac, an appellation of growing renown. An opportunity to learn a little more about this very special terroir, but also a chance to meet and talk with your hosts for the day. The estate's winemakers will be delighted to show you around the winery and explain the winemaking and ageing processes, as well as their day-to-day work. Terrasses du Larzac PDO wines are complex and aromatic. And what better way to find out than by tasting them ? After the visit, let's get down to business and indulge in a tasting session !
