The morning kicks off in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with an experience of your choice.
You can visit the Fromagerie des Alpilles, an iconic family home. Breeders and cheesemakers from father to son, the Rueda family has been perpetuating authentic know-how for several decades around a herd of about 140 goats. The visit lets you get up close to the animals, understand their breeding, and then enjoy a tasting of goat cheeses with varied textures and flavors: fresh and sweet, plain or flavored, with herbs, pepper, pink berries, or olive oil.
Alternatively, you can opt for a wine tasting at Château Romanin, located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, at the foot of the remains of a 13th-century castle. Nestled on a slope of the Alpilles, this estate with a remarkable setting produces the three colors of wine. An elegant discovery, between terroir, history, and majestic landscapes.
The route then continues to an oil mill for a tasting of Provençal olive oils, revealing all the aromatic richness of this iconic green gold of the region.
