Day 1: Tbilisi

Explore Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Discover its rich history reflected in its architecture, a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Soviet, and modern structures. Visit the most iconic sights of the city and delve deeper into its culture and history. Visit the Chronicles of Georgia, a Soviet monument that carries the past of Georgia. Overnight at a 3* Hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Ananuri - Stepantsminda

Visit Mtskheta, the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia. Visit the Jvari Monastery, which offers panoramic views of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Afterwards, visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral; both Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Embark on a drive to Kazbegi (also known as Stepantsminda), a region located in the northern part of Georgia. The journey will take place along the famous Georgian Military highway, built in 1799. The road offers picturesque views of the landscape. Stop at the Ananuri fortress, which overlooks the Jinvali water reservoir. Cross the Jvari pass and head towards the town of Stepantsminda. Upon arrival, drive up to Gergeti Trinity Church. Enjoy stunning views of Gergeti Church and the Caucasus Mountains (if the weather permits). Overnight at a guesthouse in Stepantsminda.

Day 3: Stepantsminda - Gudauri - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi

After breakfast, drive to the Gudauri ski resort. Stop at a famous observation platform adorned with Soviet mosaics, where you can take in the stunning mountain views. Continue to Karti region, where you will visit Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave town that was built before the time of Christ. Afterwards, stop at the Joseph Stalin Museum and birthplace in Gori. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight at a 3* Hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Tbilisi

Visit Kakheti, the region in Georgia where wine originated. Georgia has a long history of viticulture and winemaking, with evidence dating back to the Neolithic period. Your journey will take you through vineyards, agricultural fields, and gardens. Stop in the village of Badiauri, which is known for its bread baking and cheese making traditions. Continue to Sighanghi, where you will visit the Bodbe Nunnery and the town. Enjoy free time for lunch before visiting a traditional Georgian winery. Your host will provide you with in-depth information on the Georgian wine-making process. Taste the wines and return to Tbilisi.
